Submission Guidelines
We are looking for:
1. Factual Articles

Must be checked for spelling and grammar before submission

Must be environmentally-themed

Must include sources. Bibliography should be in MLA format.

Should be 500-2000 words long
2. Editorials/Opinion pieces

Must be checked for spelling and grammar before submission

Must be environmentally-themed

Should be 500-2000 words long
3. Poetry

Must be checked for spelling and grammar before submission

Must be environmentally-themed
4. Non-Photography Visual Art (drawings, paintings, etc.)

8.5" x 11"' preferred
-
Higher resolution appreciated
5. Photography and Photomanipulation
-
4' x 6' minimum
-
High resolution appreciated (300 dpi)

If you're doing a photomanipulation, make sure that if you do not own all the images in your picture, you have free sharing rights.
Regulations:
1. Ecoprints reserves the rights to final edits for all written pieces.
2. Ecoprints reserves the right to resize and/or crop all images received.
3. Ecoprints accepts original work only. We will check all written submissions for plagiarism.

If you don't own whatever it is you're submitting (e.g. if you did a photomanipulation and took images off the Internet), you (and by extention, Ecoprints) must have publication/sharing rights. Here are some Canadian photography sharing laws. In general, stock images are good to use for manipulation.
4. Ecoprints has zero tolerance for any racism, profanity, sexual content or homophobia present in submissions.
