Ontario Science Centre's April Sci Fri Event: Real Green

We are so flattered to have been one of five Toronto environmental organizations featured in the Ontario Science Centre's April Sci Fri event: "Real Green: Does the Environment Still Need Saving?" A night of fun activities, key note speeches, music, snacks, and exhibits -- we were so inspired by all the other environmental activists there, ranging from Toronto Environmental Alliance to Evergreen Brickworks and all the passionate students who attended. Big thanks to the Ontario Science Centre Youth Council for planning and executing such a great, informative night; see you at your next Sci Fri!

City Youth Council of Toronto Volunteer Fair

In honour of Global Youth Service Day, the City Youth Council of Toronto (CYCTO) hosted a volunteer fair at Toronto City Hall featuring over 30 different organizations, open to the public in hopes of connecting youth around the city to more volunteering opportunities.  We were so happy to have been invited and we loved meeting the hundreds of eager students looking to get involved in their communities. Thank you, City Youth Council of Toronto, for hosting such a wonderful event-- we look forward to next year's fair!

Ecoschools Ontario Ecoschools Annual Kickoff event

Cha Cha represented Ecoprints as a keynote speaker for Ecoschools Ontario's Annual Kickoff Event at Hart House, University of Toronto. Environmental Action Teams across Toronto participated in this day-long event of networking, team-building, and learning about the dangers of climate change and the key role youth play in helping to stop the consequences. Thank you so much, Ecoschools, for featuring Ecoprints and for including us in your monthly newsletter! We appreciate the support and enthusiasm for Ecoprints Magazine.
